Yaay Happy New Years!

so the first week of this year was the most busiest week imaginable..

End of Dec we went to visit my husband's parents to celebrate Christmas,
Next morning we woke up at 3am to fly to Japan,
Stayed there for few days to arrange wedding etc, had new years with my parents,
got on a bullet train to a hot spring, stayed there for a day.
Had one day to rest up and pack up, left Japan, to NY,
Had one day to try beat jet lag and my cold,
took a train to DC to attend GIGACON with my husband as guest professional speakers and sold stuff,
stayed there 3days and finally back to NY.

And yes, I knitted a lot during the travel..but I got some commissions backed up.
People seem to really like the filmstrip scarf.
My in-laws got me a whole set of professional super knitting needles, so hopefully I can zoom through these.

Weeellz I hope 2010 is going to be a busy year...with lots of work...haha


anyways, that's all i got for now to write.
Hopefully I'll post more drawing this year.

I have been thinking...

Maybe it is time for me to open up for commission...
for handmade knits, for winter presents etc.
Birthday, Christmas, Valentines, uuh..anything really haha

unfortunately due to my skills and time frame, I will not be able
to accept any large-scale projects such as sweaters and cardigans (I'm working on my own cardigan but it is taking quite a bit of time), but I can do:

Bags
Mittens/fingerless gloves (yet to figure out the fingers..)
Scarves
Hats

Price will vary depending on its complexity and size, but scarves will start at $30, rest starts at $20, not including materials and shipping.
(for example, a little handbag could be 15+ but a huge tote bag may be like $40+)
(or, you can also purchase ready-made things for a bit cheaper from azurexazure.etsy.com)

I can do crochet or knit,  I will be able to provide pattern suggestions and yarn/yarn stores that you can purchase online, which is usually way cheaper than buying in person.
I have most knitting needle/crochet sizes up to size 10.5, so unless the pattern requires anything above that, you don't have to worry.

I will be able to open up only few slots each time since this IS all done by hand and by me, haha, so please contact me at azurexazure@gmail.com at any time to see if there are any open, if you are interested.
